Era

Era is a new-age music project created by French composer Eric Lévi in 1996. The project blends Gregorian chants with modern musical elements, including rock, pop, and electronic influences. Era's lyrics, often written by Guy Protheroe, use an imaginary language reminiscent of Latin but intentionally devoid of specific meaning. The project's debut self-titled album was a worldwide success, selling over 6 million copies and becoming the most exported French album at the time.
