Pervez Mody

Pervez Mody is a renowned concert pianist born in 1968 in Mumbai, India, but now resides in Germany. He began his piano journey at the age of four under the guidance of Feroza Dubash Labonne and Farida Dubash. These early influences significantly shaped his musical interpretations and understanding of classical music. Mody's education continued at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, where he studied under Margarita Fyodorova and developed a particular affinity for the works of Alexander Scriabin. He later pursued further studies at the Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe. Mody is celebrated for his deep and exciting performances, which often feature traditional piano literature alongside lesser-known works and his own arrangements. He has performed at numerous concerts and festivals across Europe, Asia, and South America, both solo and with orchestras, and has released several albums, including multiple volumes dedicated to Scriabin's piano music.
