Creed

Creed is an American rock band that originated in Tallahassee, Florida, formed in 1994. The band's lineup consists of lead vocalist Scott Stapp, guitarist and vocalist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall, and drummer Scott Phillips. Creed quickly became one of the best-selling rock acts of the late 1990s and early 2000s, with their distinctive blend of post-grunge and hard rock. The band's debut album, "My Own Prison," released in 1997, was a massive success thanks to its four chart-topping singles, which established the band's sound and brought them widespread acclaim.

Creed followed up with "Human Clay" in 1999, which heightened their fame with hits like "Higher" and "With Arms Wide Open," showcasing Stapp's baritone voice and the band's anthemic sound. Their third album, "Weathered," was released in 2001 and continued their streak of success, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. However, tensions within the band led to a hiatus in 2004 after the release of their "Greatest Hits" collection. Creed reunited in 2009 and released "Full Circle," their fourth studio album, which marked a return to their signature style. Their most recent offering, "Stadium Anthems," captures the grandiose sound and the raw energy that has characterized Creed's music over the years. Despite internal struggles and a division among critics and fans, Creed remains an iconic figure in the hard rock and post-grunge scene with over 28 million records sold in the United States alone.
