Habibi

Habibi is a Detroit-based electronic music project helmed by producer and DJ Raed Yassin. Blending influences from techno, house, and Middle Eastern sounds, Habibi creates a unique sonic landscape that's both dancefloor-ready and deeply introspective. Yassin often incorporates traditional instruments and Arabic vocals into his productions, giving his music a rich, global texture. He's known for his hypnotic live sets, which have earned him a dedicated following worldwide.

Beyond his solo work as Habibi, Yassin is also a respected figure in the Detroit underground music scene. He's a founding member of the collective and record label Oramics, which champions experimental electronic music and provides a platform for emerging artists. He's also a passionate advocate for social justice and often uses his music to explore themes of identity, displacement, and resistance.
