Burial Oath
Burial Oath is a black metal band hailing from Cleveland, Ohio. Formed in 2015 as a studio project, the group evolved into a live act in 2016. Their sound blends aggressive black metal with elements of doom and atmospheric touches, drawing inspiration from both Scandinavian and Cascadian black metal scenes.
The band's current lineup consists of JV Green on drums, Dominic Passalacqua on guitars, Rob Schroeder on bass, and Mor Grish handling vocals. Burial Oath has released several albums, including "Beyond the Vale of Shadowlands" in 2017 and their latest offering "The Cycles of Suffering" in 2024. Their music explores themes of darkness, mysticism, and primal nature, delivered with a combination of ferocious riffs, thunderous drums, and snarling vocals.
