Social Union

Social Union is a dark wave, synth pop, and post-punk duo from Ōtautahi, Aotearoa (Christchurch, New Zealand). The duo consists of Vanilla Martin and Luke Penrose. Their music often blends haunting vocals with creative production, showcasing a strong post-punk foundation with industrial and synthpop influences. One of their notable tracks, "Fall into Me," was composed as a gift to acknowledge a personal journey of sobriety and features a brooding atmosphere reminiscent of driving alone at night in a foreign city. Social Union releases their music on the Berlin-based label Blackjack Illuminist Records.
