Puneeth Rajkumar

Puneeth Rajkumar was a revered Indian film actor, playback singer, and television presenter known for his work in Kannada cinema. Born on March 17, 1975, in Chennai, Puneeth hailed from a prominent family in the Kannada film industry. He was the youngest son of celebrated actor Rajkumar and film producer Parvathamma Rajkumar. Puneeth began his acting career as a child artist, appearing in numerous films for which he won many accolades.

As an adult, he made his lead acting debut in 2002 with the film "Appu" and rapidly emerged as a leading actor in Kannada cinema. Puneeth was not only known for his dynamic on-screen presence but also for his versatile skills as a playback singer. He lent his voice to numerous songs in his films, including popular tracks from some of his most recent movies such as "Milana," "Jackie," and "Chakravyuha." His performances were often accompanied by powerful dialogues that became iconic, from films like "Bindas," "Raam," and "Hudugaru," which showcased his range as a performer. Sadly, Puneeth Rajkumar passed away at a young age, on October 29, 2021, due to a cardiac arrest, leaving a lasting legacy in Kannada cinema and an outpouring of grief from fans and the film fraternity.
