Noah Max

Noah Max is a British-Austrian composer recognized for his diverse musical output, encompassing opera, orchestral, and chamber music. He gained significant attention with his opera *A Child in Striped Pyjamas*, which premiered to acclaim at the Cockpit Theatre in London. Max's work *Sojourn*, a string trio, won The Clements Prize in 2021. His compositions have been performed at prestigious venues like Wigmore Hall and the Royal Albert Hall. Max is also the Composer-in-Residence at the Thaxted Festival and has worked on numerous projects, including collaborations with the Tippett Quartet. His debut album *Songs of Loneliness* was released in 2022, and he continues to push the boundaries of musical creativity.

Noah Max's artistic journey is deeply influenced by his family background, with both parents being musicians. Growing up in an artistic household, he was encouraged early on to explore the world of music and beyond, even dabbling in film-making. Max's musical career took off after an injury led him to focus more on composing.
