The Ironix is a German DJ and music producer duo composed of Felix Eickhoff and Simon Reichardt. Born in 1994, they hail from Freiburg im Breisgau and Waldkirch, Germany. The duo began their career as DJs, initially focusing on Progressive House and Electro House genres, performing mainly in Freiburg and its surroundings. They adopted the name "The Ironix" in 2009, following a suggestion from a friend. Their early success included an unofficial remix of OneRepublic's "Counting Stars," which garnered significant attention on platforms like SoundCloud and YouTube. Over time, they shifted their focus towards music production, working on projects for notable artists such as Helene Fischer and Katja Krasavice. In 2020, they signed a global publishing deal with the Bertelsmann Music Group and gained international recognition with their production of "No te vayas" for Yandel and J Balvin.
