The Motorettes are an Irish garage rock band formed in 2015 in Dublin. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Gemma Doherty, bassist Rachel McConnell, and drummer Caoimhe deBarra. They have released two studio albums, "The Motorettes" (2019) and "Super Heartbeats" (2022), as well as several singles and EPs. The Motorettes have toured extensively throughout Europe and the UK, and have performed at festivals such as Glastonbury and SXSW. Their music has been described as "a raucous blend of garage rock, punk, and surf" and has been praised for its energy and originality.
