Whitworth

Whitworth is an indie pop project led by Owen Whitworth Ragland, a musician and producer from St. Louis, Missouri. Known for blending elements of jazz, electronic, and hip-hop with indie sensibilities, Owen began producing music at age 14 and developed Whitworth while attending Sarah Lawrence College. The band evolved from casual jam sessions into a full-fledged group, recording their debut album *Earth to Dreamer* which features singles like "World War" that showcase a warm, summery indie pop sound reminiscent of bands like Wallows and Dayglow. Whitworth’s music is characterized by dreamy synths, catchy guitar riffs, and relatable lyrics, marking Owen as a promising new figure in the DIY indie scene.

The project embraces a friendly, creative spirit, with a collaborative vibe that grew from college friendships and extended into recording and touring.
