Whisper Dish

Whisper Dish is the solo project of musician Tim McNaughton, who hails from New Zealand. Before launching Whisper Dish, Tim gained valuable experience playing guitar with the band Marlin’s Dreaming, a group that blended indie, psychedelic, and surf rock influences. After spending a couple of years touring and honing his craft with the band, he decided to focus on his own music and bring his songs to life exactly as he envisioned. Whisper Dish started as a DIY project during a time of limited resources and the challenges of recording amid a pandemic, which led Tim to learn and experiment deeply with the recording process himself rather than relying solely on professionals. This hands-on approach helped him grow as a songwriter and producer, making Whisper Dish a unique and personal musical endeavor.
