Alijoma

Alijoma, born on August 28, 1991, in Nyaang Pathuyith (also known as Nyan Patweet), is a South Sudanese musician known for his work in Afrobeat, Reggae, and Dancehall genres. He was raised in Bor Town and holds a degree in Electrical Engineering. Alijoma's music career spans over a decade, with influences from Congolese artists like Awilo Longomba and Koffi Olomide, as well as South Sudanese artists such as Panchol Deng Ajang and John Kudusay. He gained recognition in 2014 after signing with Grandtune Entertainment and has since become a prominent figure in South Sudanese music. His album "Love n Fame," released in 2021, earned him the Best Music Album of the Year award at the South Sudan Music Awards.

Alijoma's musical journey began with early singles like "Let’s Go to School" under the name "Nicky Jay" in 2010, followed by hits under the name "Chrizz Nickey" in 2013. His recent releases include songs like "SEKIN," "Sabur (Remastered)," and "BELEDI," showcasing his versatility across genres. With a passion for creating relatable and uplifting music, Alijoma continues to captivate audiences with his unique blend of styles.
