Daniel Schlosberg is a Grammy-nominated pianist known for his dynamic and diverse career in classical and contemporary music. He has performed widely across the U.S., including as a featured soloist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and has a strong passion for contemporary music, collaborating with ensembles like Eighth Blackbird and Third Coast Percussion. Schlosberg was a founding member of the acclaimed ensemble Yarn/Wire and has premiered works by composers such as Augusta Read Thomas and Kaija Saariaho. His recordings span several labels, with his latest solo album, *Gaul Me Maybe: French Baroque Keyboard Music*, highlighting French Baroque keyboard works.
Beyond performance, he is a dedicated educator, serving on the faculty at the University of Notre Dame since 2005, where he also directs undergraduate studies. He is involved in the art song community as director of the Baltimore Lieder Weekend and maintains a duo with soprano Laura Strickling, with whom he recorded *40@40*, an album nominated for a Grammy award for Best Classical Solo Vocal Album. Schlosberg is also known for his engaging pre-concert lectures and program annotations, and he holds the distinguished status of a Steinway Artist.
