Cécile was a florist at the time, and Kevin was looking to start a music project. They adopted the name Andriamad, which is Cécile's paternal grandmother's surname from Madagascar. The duo is known for their unique "electropical" sound, which blends electronic and tropical elements. They gained attention for their participation in the French Eurovision selection with their song "Alléluia," a track that celebrates diversity and promotes open-mindedness and positive curiosity about different cultures.
