Pronghorn

**Pronghorn** is a UK-based rock and folk rock band hailing from Bournemouth, formed in 1992 from the remnants of earlier outfits like skiffle group 'Hoedown at Hanks', a Cult tribute band 'Blue Rain', and local act 'the Crunchy Tractors'. They kicked things off busking outside Debenhams and playing their first gig at the Brunswick Hotel in Charminster, evolving into a unique "Cowpunk" mash-up of punk, country, and rockabilly that landed them festival spots like Glastonbury, Isle of Wight, Camp Bestival, and Teddy Rocks.

Founder members Toni Viagra and Lamma remain at the core, joined by longtime players Ffi, Krusty, Gypo, Aussie Mike, and Andy Law who've been rocking with them for about 15 years. Their recent album *Welcome to Pronghorn Country* (2022) on Lunaria Records features tracks like **Bone**, **Swamp Winch**, **Soldier's Tale**, and more, blending bayou fiddles, hollering, and high-energy vibes that keep fans hooked. They're a festival-loving live band straight out of South England, dishing out contagious tunes like **Jed Jones** and **Dirty Motel Blues**.
