The Rabble

The Rabble is a punk rock band hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, formed in 2001 by brothers Chazz (vocals and guitar) and Rupe Rabble (bass), along with a friend as their drummer, who was later replaced by Jamie Douglass. Known for their energetic performances and a sound that fuses elements of punk, Oi!, ska, and street rock, the group has carved out a niche for themselves within the underground punk scene with relentless touring and a DIY ethos. Throughout their career, they've gained a loyal fan base and have been noted for their direct, socially conscious lyrics, pulling no punches when commenting on political and personal issues.

Despite their independent roots, The Rabble has managed to make a substantial impact with their music. With albums like "Life's a Journey" and "The New Generation," they explore themes of growth, struggle, and the voice of youth in an ever-changing world. The urgency of their message is palpable in tracks like "The Battle's Almost Over..." and "No Clue, No Future," where they address the fight against adversity and the challenges of finding direction in life. Their passionate and unapologetic approach was once again evident in "This Is Our Lives," an anthem of self-determination and empowerment, solidifying The Rabble's place in the punk rock realm as more than just musicians, but as a voice for the disenchanted and the determined.
