Bränd Jord is a Swedish progressive black metal band from Gothenburg, formed in 2012. Their lineup consists of Jens Kjerrström (vocals/guitar), Fredrik Helgesson (drums), and Anders Thorén (bass), with Jens and Fredrik previously active in the grindcore band Obligatorisk Tortyr. Known for blending black metal intensity with progressive elements, they’ve released albums like *Ont Krut* (2015) and *Ledan & Eländet* (2014), showcasing their mix of raw aggression and intricate compositions. The band’s name translates to “Scorched Earth,” reflecting their heavy, uncompromising sound.
