Meshiaak

Meshiaak is an Australian heavy metal force formed in 2015 by guitarist/vocalist Danny Camilleri (ex-4Arm) and Teramaze guitarist Dean Wells. Hailing from Geelong, the band blends thrash, groove, and melodic metal with a cinematic edge, often exploring dystopian themes and societal struggles. Their debut album *Alliance of Thieves* (2016) introduced their aggressive yet hook-driven sound, followed by *Mask of All Misery* (2018), which sharpened their storytelling with darker, conceptual undertones. Known for collaborative energy and dual-guitar fireworks, Meshiaak’s lineup has included bassist Nick Walker and drummer Jon Dette (Testament, Slayer). Their music, like the blistering *Year We Turned Violent*, delivers raw intensity with a polished modern metal sheen, cementing their status as underground favorites with a global cult following.
