Lio

Lio is a Belgian singer and actress, born as Wanda Ribeiro de Vasconcelos in 1962 in Mangualde, Portugal. She rose to fame in the 1980s as a pop icon in francophone Europe, particularly with her hit song "Banana Split" in 1979, which sold over a million copies. Her music often blended elements of electro-pop, and she collaborated with notable artists like Sparks, Etienne Daho, and Jacno. Lio also ventured into acting, appearing in films such as "Golden Eighties" by Chantal Akerman. Her career has spanned multiple genres and mediums, showcasing her versatility as an artist.
