Manuel Blasco De Nebra

Manuel Blasco de Nebra was a Spanish composer and organist who lived in the 18th century. He was born in Seville in 1750 and died young at the age of 34 in 1784. Blasco de Nebra is known for his keyboard works, particularly his sonatas, which show influences of both the Baroque and early Classical styles. He worked as the organist at Seville Cathedral, following in the footsteps of his father, who held the same position.

While not as widely recognized as some of his contemporaries, Blasco de Nebra's music has been rediscovered in recent years. His compositions, especially his keyboard sonatas, are now appreciated for their unique blend of Spanish musical traditions and the emerging Classical style of the late 18th century.
