Daniel Lee Gallegos is a talented musician from the Northern New Mexico pueblo de Las Vegas. He began his musical journey at a young age, singing from birth and playing guitar since he was twelve. His parents, Daniel and Mary Elaine Gallegos, encouraged his musical talents, along with those of his brothers. Gallegos' style is deeply rooted in the traditional music of Northern New Mexico, known as "El Estillo Del Norte De Nuevo Mexico," which includes genres like Rancheras, Cumbias, Valses, Corridos, and Polkas. His professional career took off at fifteen when he co-founded the band Sangre Joven with his brother Lorenzo Miguel in 1988.
Over the years, Daniel Lee Gallegos has released numerous albums, including "Puras Conocidas," "Hasta El Ultimo Cartucho," "Exitos Originales de Daniel Lee Gallegos," and his highly anticipated album "Rancheraville," which features ten new songs and collaborations with artists like Candace Vargas and AJ Martinez. His music has been well-received, with thousands of CDs sold and over a hundred performances annually. Gallegos is celebrated for his contributions to New Mexico's vibrant musical scene, blending traditional styles with contemporary flair. His recent releases include popular tracks like "Oh Lonesome Me," "El Corrido de Abelino Montoya," and "Del Puro Norte," showcasing his versatility and dedication to his craft.
