Twin Atlantic

Twin Atlantic is a Scottish alternative rock band hailing from Glasgow, known for their passionate and energetic sound that blends elements of rock, pop, and indie music. The band was formed in 2007 by Sam McTrusty (lead vocals and guitar), Ross McNae (bass, piano, and backing vocals), Craig Kneale (drums and backing vocals), and Barry McKenna (guitar, cello, and backing vocals) until his departure in 2019. They quickly made a name for themselves in the UK live music scene with their dynamic performances.

The band's journey through the music industry has seen a steady evolution of their style, as witnessed in their later albums like "POWER" released in 2020, which showcased a more polished and synth-driven sound, a departure from their earlier, more guitar-heavy work. "GLA", their 2016 release, was an ode to their hometown and absorbed the grit and vigor of Glasgow's music landscape. With the 2021 album "Transparency," Twin Atlantic dove even deeper into a mix of introspection and sociopolitical commentary, wrapped in addictive melodies and bold sounds. "Transparency (Deluxe)" followed, offering fans additional content and solidifying their versatility. Their engaging live performances are immortalized in works like "Live from the World Famous Barrowland Ballroom", showcasing the raw energy and connection they share with their audience. Hit singles such as "Barcelona" and "Novocaine" have further established Twin Atlantic as a mainstay in the British rock scene, with their music resonating with fans across the globe.
