Orenda Fink

Orenda Fink is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and one-half of the dream pop duo Azure Ray with Maria Taylor. Her music career is steeped in ethereal soundscapes, introspective lyrics, and a blend of indie rock and folk elements. Orenda's solo work has taken her on a path of exploring various themes ranging from the spiritual to the deeply personal, earning her a dedicated following in the indie music scene.

Since embarking on her solo journey, Orenda Fink has released several critically-acclaimed albums. Her 2014 album "Blue Dream" delves into the complexities of love, loss, and the afterlife, inspired partly by the passing of her beloved dog. This theme of introspection and contemplation is a thread that runs through her earlier works as well, such as "Ask the Night" (2009), which draws on Southern folk music and acoustic arrangements to evoke a sense of intimacy and nostalgia. With "Invisible Ones" (2005) and "Bloodline" (2006), Orenda explored her interests in Haitian and African spiritual traditions, melding these influences with her evocative songwriting to create a unique sonic tapestry. Throughout her career, Orenda has continually evolved, as evident in singles like "Mighty Mist" and "Ace of Cups," showcasing her ability to fuse melodic elements with poignant storytelling.
