Igor Dyachenko

Igor Dyachenko is a multidimensional artist specializing in experimental ambient music, film composition, and sound design. Born in the south of Russia in 1988, he later moved to Moscow, where he studied to become a lawyer before pursuing a degree in Experimental Sound and Multimedia Technology. Currently based in Berlin, Germany, Igor is known for his unique approach to sound, often incorporating elements of "melted reality" that blend physical and abstract mediums to create immersive sonic landscapes. His projects often explore deep listening and spatial perception, reflecting his interest in textured sound and layered events. Igor has collaborated with prominent brands and artists, contributing to soundtracks and sound designs for films and exhibitions. Some of his notable works include albums like "Ecosystem," "Objects," and "Tracked," which showcase his ability to extract and shape frequencies from diverse sources.

Igor is also the founder of the Epic Room sound design studio, where he develops generative sound systems for various applications, including architecture and multimedia collaborations. His work has been featured in international film festivals and galleries, such as The Calvert Journal Film Festival and Les Rencontres d’Arles. Additionally, Igor hosts the Peripherie show on radio.syg.ma, further expanding his creative and artistic endeavors.
