Wi Heekyung is a South Korean gayageum player and composer. She is known for her innovative and experimental approach to traditional Korean music, which she combines with elements of Western classical music, jazz, and electronic music. Wi has released numerous albums and performed extensively throughout the world. She has also collaborated with a wide range of artists, including the Kronos Quartet, the Silk Road Ensemble, and the New York Philharmonic.
