Luisa Maita is a Brazilian singer-songwriter known for her sultry, genre-blending sound that mixes samba, bossa nova, MPB (Música Popular Brasileira), and electronic music. Hailing from São Paulo, Luisa grew up in a musical family—her father was a composer and her mother was a music producer—which helped shape her artistic sensibility from an early age. She first gained international attention with her 2010 debut album, Lero-Lero, which earned praise for its fresh take on Brazilian traditions paired with contemporary beats.

Following Lero-Lero, Luisa released Fio da Memória in 2016, showcasing a more electronic, urban vibe while still rooted in Brazil's rich musical textures.
