L'Oeuf Raide

L'Oeuf Raide is an electronic music project from Lyon, France, known for blending electronic sounds with traditional instruments. The project, led by Fred, a former singer of the hardcore-punk band Tong!, gained recognition after performing at the Printemps de Bourges festival in 2001. Initially accompanied by a drummer from the hardcore scene, L'Oeuf Raide's live performances later evolved to feature a VJ mixing visuals alongside Fred's music. Their style spans genres like hip hop and drum & bass, often incorporating experimental elements. Over the years, L'Oeuf Raide has released several albums, including "Are You Eggsperienced?" and "The Eggshibitionist," showcasing a diverse and eclectic approach to electronic music.

L'Oeuf Raide's music often combines cinematic, abstract hip hop, and trip hop elements with ethnic and jazz samples, creating a unique sonic landscape. Their performances have taken them to various festivals and venues across Europe, from Sziget to Fusion, and from London to Mostar. With a focus on experimentation and creativity, L'Oeuf Raide continues to push boundaries in the electronic music scene.
