Jan Ole Hermansen is a Norwegian musician and composer who has been active in the music industry for over two decades. He is best known for his work with the band Áillohaš, which he co-founded in 1998. Hermansen's music is often described as a blend of traditional Sami folk music with elements of rock, pop, and jazz. He has released several albums with Áillohaš, as well as a number of solo projects. Hermansen is also a respected producer and has worked with a variety of artists, including Mari Boine, Wimme Saari, and Frode Fjellheim.
