Universal Congress Of is a psychedelic rock band from the United Kingdom. Formed in 2010, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Michael J. York, bassist and vocalist James Kirby, and drummer and vocalist Sam Steiger. Their music is characterized by its heavy use of fuzz guitars, swirling organs, and hypnotic rhythms, creating a sound that is both trippy and danceable. Universal Congress Of has released four albums to date, including "Prosperous and Qualified" (2015), "Eleventh Hour Shine-On" (2017), "Salty Black Wind" (2019), and "This Is Mecolodics" (2022).
