ARC Ensemble

The ARC Ensemble (Artists of The Royal Conservatory) is one of Canada's leading cultural ambassadors, known for combining artistic excellence with a dedication to restoring suppressed musical voices. Based at Toronto's Royal Conservatory of Music, this Grammy-nominated ensemble focuses on performing and recording repertoire by composers whose careers and legacies were disrupted by 20th-century political oppression, particularly those affected by the Nazi regime. Their mission is not only musical but also historical—bringing long-forgotten or unjustly neglected works back to life.

With a rotating roster of faculty musicians, the ARC Ensemble has released several acclaimed albums on the Chandos label, including recordings featuring chamber works by composers like Mieczysław Weinberg, Walter Kaufmann, and Paul Ben-Haim.
