Dirty Cat

Dirty Cat, whose real name is Jonas Martin Schmid, was born in Switzerland in 1984. Growing up in a musical family, he learned to play the trumpet, piano, guitar, and percussion, and also took singing lessons. He began producing electronic music in late 2005 and moved to Munich in 2006 for theatrical education at the Otto Falckenberg School. Influenced by the electro scenes in Munich and Berlin, Dirty Cat's music blends rock, house, techno, and minimal styles. He has released tracks on several labels and produced remixes since 2007. In addition to his music career, he started producing soundtracks for film and theater in 2009. In 2010, he founded his own record label, Dirty Cat Records. His live performances are known for their unique blend of crispy beats and dreamy melodies, often performed with a midi controller and computer.

Dirty Cat's recent releases include tracks like "Morning," "Next Step," "Celebration," "Back Home," "Claws," "In The Dark," "Nitric Acid," and "Moments." His music often reflects a dynamic mix of genres, showcasing his versatility as a producer. With a background in multiple instruments and a strong foundation in electronic music production, Dirty Cat continues to captivate audiences with his distinctive sound.
