SoiSong was a short-lived but remarkable collaboration between Peter “Sleazy” Christopherson (of Coil fame) and Ivan Pavlov (better known as CoH), two pioneering figures in experimental electronic music. Their partnership began in 2007 and quickly became known for pushing boundaries, blending real and artificial vocals, unconventional arrangements, and a genre-defying approach that refused to fit into any one category. SoiSong attracted attention for their inventive live performances, unique packaging (including octagonal CDs), and playful, mysterious online presence. Following Christopherson's death in 2010, Pavlov continued to release archival material and solo tracks under the SoiSong banner, ensuring the project’s legacy lives on in the world of avant-garde music.
