Valentin Bibik

Valentin Bibik was a Ukrainian composer (1942–2003) known for his richly expressive chamber works and symphonies. Born in Kharkiv, he studied at the Leningrad Conservatory under Boris Arapov, blending modernist techniques with a deep emotional resonance that made his music both challenging and accessible. His catalog includes operas, symphonies, and a standout collection of sonatas for violin, viola, and piano—showcased in recent releases like *Complete Sonatas for Violin & Piano* and *Viola Sonatas*.
