Gotthard is a Swiss hard rock band that has been rocking since the early '90s. Hailing from Lugano, Switzerland, they gained a loyal fanbase with their blend of melodic rock and powerful ballads. The band's original lineup featured charismatic frontman Steve Lee, whose voice became a defining element of their sound. Over the years, Gotthard has released numerous successful albums, earning platinum and gold certifications, particularly in their home country.
Tragedy struck in 2010 when Steve Lee passed away in a motorcycle accident, but the band persevered, honoring his legacy while continuing to create music. They later introduced Nic Maeder as their new lead vocalist, marking a fresh chapter while staying true to their signature sound. Known for hits like "Heaven" and "Anytime Anywhere," Gotthard remains a staple in the European rock scene, consistently delivering high-energy performances and compelling albums.
