Phototaxis is an Electro-Soul band from Tel Aviv, Israel, founded by Yael Feldinger and Itai Tsuk in 2009. The band is known for their unique blend of Synth Pop and Dark Folk styles, drawing inspiration from artists like Sampha, Radiohead, and Fever Ray. Phototaxis has released several albums, including "Pretty Ugly" (2010), "Fearless/Mindless" (2012), "Marinade" (2015), and "Neverlander" (2018), which was released on the Backseat label following a European tour.
