Why Bonnie

Why Bonnie is an indie rock band from Louisville, Kentucky, formed in 2010. The band consists of Blair Howerton (vocals, guitar), Jason Tweedy (guitar, vocals), and Richard James (drums). Their music is characterized by its dreamy, atmospheric sound, with Howerton's ethereal vocals floating over Tweedy's intricate guitar work and James' steady drumming. Why Bonnie has released three full-length albums, "Why Bonnie" (2013), "Grunge Couple" (2016), and "90 In November" (2020), as well as several EPs and singles. They have toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and have shared the stage with bands such as The War on Drugs, The Breeders, and Yo La Tengo.
