Kreutzer Quartet

The Kreutzer Quartet is a British string quartet that has made a name for itself in the contemporary classical music scene. They're known for their adventurous programming and have given concerts across Europe, including Italy, Germany, France, Holland, Serbia, and Montenegro. The group has been particularly active in recording and performing new works, collaborating closely with composers and building up an impressive discography that spans a wide range of contemporary classical styles.

Neil Heyde, the cellist of the Kreutzer Quartet, is also a Professor of Music and Head of Postgraduate Programmes at the Royal Academy of Music. His work with the quartet has involved extensive recording projects, often in collaboration with living composers. The Kreutzer Quartet has been particularly associated with the music of David Matthews, having recorded multiple volumes of his complete string quartets.
