Chris Carter is an English musician and producer best known for his work with the electronic music group Throbbing Gristle. He is also a member of Chris & Cosey, Carter Tutti Void, and Carter Tutti. Carter's music is often experimental and industrial, and he has been a pioneer in the use of electronic instruments and sound effects. He has also been involved in visual art and film, and has written several books on music and culture.
