Cool Nutz is a veteran rapper and entrepreneur hailing from Portland, Oregon. Known for his gritty lyrical style and commitment to putting Northwest hip-hop on the map, Cool Nutz (real name Terrance Scott) has been active in the music scene since the early 1990s. Over the years, he’s released numerous projects and collaborations that showcase his thoughtful storytelling and West Coast-influenced production. Beyond making music, he’s also been instrumental in fostering the local hip-hop community through events and industry support.

Cool Nutz has collaborated with major West Coast artists like E-40 and Tech N9ne and earned respect for his authenticity and hustle. Aside from his solo work, he's co-founded Jus Family Records, a label dedicated to promoting Pacific Northwest talent. His recent output, including tracks like “190 Grainz,” “Pain,” and “Gettin It In,” keeps him relevant in today’s scene while staying true to his roots.
