Headspace

Headspace is an English progressive metal band formed in 2006 by keyboardist Adam Wakeman and vocalist Damian Wilson, who was previously with Threshold. The band also includes Pete Rinaldi on guitars, Lee Pomeroy on bass and Chapman stick, and Adam Falkner on drums. Initially starting as a casual project among friends, Headspace quickly developed a distinctive sound blending thoughtful, heavy prog with passionate and expressive vocals. They gained attention supporting Ozzy Osbourne in 2007 and released their debut EP, *I Am...*, the same year. Their acclaimed first full-length concept album, *I Am Anonymous*, came out in 2012, followed by *All That You Fear Is Gone* in 2016, which explores themes of individual and societal control.

The band is known for combining complexity and memorability in their music, earning praise within the progressive metal community. Despite the challenges of being hard to classify genre-wise, Headspace has maintained a loyal following and a reputation for adventurous, engaging compositions. Their lineup features musicians who are active in other notable projects as well, with Adam Wakeman famously playing keyboards for Ozzy Osbourne and carrying on a family legacy tied to Black Sabbath. Headspace continues to perform and create music that appeals to fans of intelligent and emotive progressive rock and metal.
