Imaràntia

**Imaràntia** is a singer-songwriter duo composed of Maria José Cardona and Miquel Brunet. Cardona, originally the lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter of the Spanish rock band **4 de Copes**, teamed up with Brunet, a pianist and music producer from Mallorca, to form Imaràntia after her former band disbanded. The duo is known for its intimate and heartfelt performances, often blending their own compositions with interpretations of local musical influences.

Imaràntia has released several albums, including their debut self-titled album in 2013 and "Obre les Ales" in 2021. More recently, they have been working on "Retruc," a tribute album to the musical heritage of Eivissa and Formentera, focusing on the musical catalogue of UC. Their performances often feature guest musicians, enhancing their unique sound with additional instrumentation like violin and percussion.
