Branly started his professional career at the age of 15, playing with bands like "Cuarto Espacio." He later collaborated with notable Cuban artists such as Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Issac Delgado, and NG La Banda. In 1998, Branly moved to the United States, where he expanded his musical repertoire by performing and recording with artists like Keiko Matsui, Flora Purim, Airto Moreira, and Gloria Estefan, among many others. His versatility in jazz and Latin music has led to numerous collaborations and performances, including a notable performance at The White House in 2013.
Branly is known for his work on projects like "Elemental," a collaboration with Otmaro Ruiz and Jimmy Haslip. He continues to produce and release music, often featuring other renowned musicians like Abraham Laboriel and Otmaro Ruiz.
