Maeywon

Khathutshelo Innocent Mangolo, better known as Maeywon, is a South African artist known primarily as one half of the acclaimed Amapiano duo Murumba Pitch. Born on July 18, 2001, in Midrand, Gauteng, Maeywon has been making waves in the music scene with his smooth vocals and creative contributions since the duo’s formation around 2012 and especially after officially forming Murumba Pitch in 2020. Together with Emmanuel Mathye, Maeywon blends rich harmonies with infectious Amapiano beats that have resonated both locally and internationally, helping to elevate the genre’s profile worldwide.

Murumba Pitch has released several well-received albums and singles, including their recent work "Me To Me," and they are known for collaborations with artists like Buhle Sax. Signed to Sony Music, the duo continues to push boundaries, combining elements of R&B and South African Amapiano in their sound.
