Clark Tracey

Clark Tracey is an acclaimed British jazz drummer, composer, and bandleader known for his dynamic style and deep contributions to the UK jazz scene. The son of legendary pianist Stan Tracey, Clark followed in his father's footsteps but carved out his own distinct path as a top-tier drummer. Over the years, he's performed with a who's who of jazz greats, both in the UK and internationally, and has been recognized multiple times with awards for his drumming.

In addition to his work as a performer, Tracey is also a passionate educator. He’s published drum instruction books and played a key role in developing graded syllabi for jazz drum exams, including work for Trinity College London. Albums like The Legacy and Stability showcase his sharp sense of arrangement and commitment to pushing modern jazz forward, while also mentoring up-and-coming talent through his various ensembles.
