Southern Avenue is a dynamo of Southern soul infused with doses of gospel, blues, and robust Memphis-styled rhythm and blues. Named after a thoroughfare that runs through the heart of Memphis, Tennessee, the band embodies its home city's soulful and diverse heritage. Formed in 2015, Southern Avenue is anchored by sisters Tierinii Jackson (vocalist) and Tikyra Jackson (drummer), who are complemented by Israeli-born guitarist Ori Naftaly, who moved to Memphis to immerse himself in its rich musical legacy.
