Swarrrm

Swarrrm is a Japanese grindcore band from Kobe, formed in either 1996 or 1998, depending on the source. Known for their eclectic and innovative style, Swarrrm combines elements of grindcore with other genres, creating a unique and unpredictable sound that has evolved over the years. The band has gone through several vocalists, with Tsukasa Harakawa, previously of the death metal band Hellchild, joining the lineup in 2007. His distinctive growls add a recognizable dimension to Swarrrm's music. Over the years, Swarrrm has released several albums, including "Against Again," "Black Bong," "Flower," and "Beginning to Break," showcasing their growth and creativity in the genre.

Swarrrm's music is characterized by intense screams, blastbeats, and chaotic rhythms, often incorporating elements of hardcore punk and powerviolence. Their later works, such as "Beginning to Break" and their latest releases, reflect a more refined and emotive approach while retaining their hallmark complexity and creativity. With a career spanning over two decades, Swarrrm remains a notable figure in the Japanese grindcore scene, celebrated for their fearless experimentation and unique soundscapes.
