**GHOSTWOMAN** is the brainchild of Canadian musician Evan Uschenko, a prolific multi-instrumentalist and songwriter hailing from Alberta. What started as a solo studio project in 2020 has evolved into a shapeshifting blend of psychedelic rock, lo-fi jangle, and gritty garage vibes. Uschenko’s DIY approach—recording most instruments himself—gives his music a raw, hypnotic charm, with lyrics that drift between cryptic storytelling and hazy introspection. His self-titled debut album (2022) and follow-up *Hindsight is 50/50* (2023) showcase tracks like “Alright Alright,” “The End of a Gun,” and “Juan,” which balance catchy hooks with a moody, off-kilter edge.
