Capital Theatre

Capital Theatre is a Canadian rock band formed in 2019 by guitarist and lead vocalist Adam Stevenson, bassist and keyboardist Roy Oliver, and drummer Josh Desjardins. Hailing from Port Perry, Ontario, the trio quickly gained attention for their dynamic live performances and blend of classic rock influences with a modern edge. Their sound has been compared to artists like Rush, Muse, and The Killers, showcasing intricate musicianship and powerful vocals. They independently released their debut EP "Force to Fight" in 2020, followed by a string of singles including "People," "Fire," and "A Hero's Journey," which further solidified their growing fanbase.

Building on their early success, Capital Theatre signed with Lava Records in 2022 and released their debut full-length album, "A Hero's Journey," in 2023. The album expanded on their established sound, exploring themes of personal growth, perseverance, and the challenges of navigating the modern world. They've continued to tour extensively, sharing stages with notable acts and earning praise for their captivating live shows. Recent singles like "Underworld," "Exactly What You Want," and "Taste the Flame" hint at an exciting evolution in their sound as they continue to write and record new music.
