Kalux, born Sagarias Karunga in Outjo, Namibia, and raised in Otjiwarongo, is a notable Afro-pop and RnB artist. He began his music journey early, inspired by artists like Michael Jackson, Brenda Fassie, and Lucky Dube. His debut single, 'Hafifange,' released on Ogopa Butterly, earned him the Best Newcomer award at the 2015 Namibian Annual Music Awards (NAMA). Kalux has also been recognized for his philanthropic efforts and has made his hometown proud, becoming one of the few musicians from Otjiwarongo to achieve national success. He has even had a street named after him in his hometown. Kalux is known for his unique fusion of African rhythms and has collaborated with international artists like Roberto and Stanley Enow.
Kalux's success extends beyond his early beginnings, as he has gone on to release multiple albums and continue to make an impact in the Namibian music scene.
